Cassette worked with Baxter to develop a 3Ddigital twin of their PRISMAX 2 dialysis device. Thetraining was hailed by Tameside Hospital, in aFinancial Times article, for it’s positive impact.
The simulator is used to provide accessible trainingthrough an immersive web app and via VRheadsets, through a complete replication of themachines’ user interface, physicality, andfunctionality.

The Challenge
Baxter offered complimentary on-site training for their PRISMAX2 dialysis devices, but healthcare professionals were frequently calledaway for emergencies. This traditional training approach wasted time and resources, while failing to provide education at times andlocations convenient for busy medical staff.
