The Role


We're looking for an AI Developer to join our team. The title says developer but this role is really about momentum — building things quickly, experimenting boldly, and turning ideas into working prototypes before the coffee goes cold.

 

We're not fixed on experience level. What matters is mindset: comfort with ambiguity, genuine enthusiasm for AI tools and new ways of working, and the ability to ship.

 

What You'll Do


  • Use vibe coding tools (Cursor, Windsurf, v0, Bolt, Replit Agent and others as they emerge) to build and iterate rapidly

  • Prototype quickly — turning a brief or a vague idea into something real and testable within hours, not weeks

  • Build front-end experiences that bring AI-powered products to life

  • Develop backend services, APIs, and automations that underpin those experiences

  • Create and orchestrate AI agents for research, content generation, decision support, and workflow automation

  • Design, test, and refine prompts to get consistent, high-quality outputs from LLMs

  • Experiment with emerging tools and models — and bring your findings back to the team

  • Collaborate closely with designers, strategists, and technologists across small, fast-moving teams

 

What We're Looking For


We care far more about how you think and work than what's on your CV. A portfolio of side projects tells us more than a list of job titles.

 

Essential:

  • Hands-on experience with vibe coding and AI-assisted development tools — not just awareness of them, but actual daily use

  • A rapid prototyping mindset: you build to learn, iterate fast, and don't wait for perfect conditions

  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and/or Python

  • Genuine curiosity about AI — you follow the space, you experiment, and you have opinions

  • Comfort working with ambiguity: you can take an open-ended brief and make something from it

  • Clear communicator who can explain their thinking to non-technical colleagues and clients

 

Experience level is flexible. We'll consider:

  • Recent graduates or self-taught developers who've built things with AI tools independently

  • Mid-level developers with 2–4 years of experience looking to work at the cutting edge

  • Senior developers who want to bring rigour and experience to an AI-first environment

 

Nice to Have


(None of these are required — but they'd put a smile on our faces.)

 

  • Side projects, experiments, or public repos involving AI, agents, or automation

  • Experience with workflow tools like n8n, Make, or Zapier

  • Familiarity with AI APIs, vector databases, or agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, etc.)

  • Prompt engineering or system design experience

  • Any exposure to immersive or experiential tech: AR, VR, WebGL

 

Recruitment Process


We want the process to reflect how we actually work — collaborative, low-pressure, and focused on what you can do.

 

1.    Initial Chat

A relaxed conversation about you, what you've built, and what excites you. No trick questions.

2.    Creative Technical Challenge

A short hands-on exercise to complete in your own time — no more than 2 hours. We want to see how you prototype and problem-solve, not test your memory under pressure. Vibe coding tools are not just allowed — they're encouraged.

3.    Meet the Team

A friendly session to walk through your challenge, talk about your approach, and meet the people you'd be working with.
