BAXTER
PRISMAX 2 VR
AN INTERACTIVE TRAINING EXPERIENCE.
Cassette worked with Baxter to develop a 3D digital twin of the PRISMAX 2 machine.
PRISMAX 2 is designed to deliver Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) in critically ill patients in the ICU.
The simulator is used to provide accessible training via virtual reality headsets and over the web, through a complete replication of the machines’ user interface, physicality, and functionality.

BRIEF
Training on the PRISMAX 2 has typically been delivered face-to-face by therapy specialists.
Baxter identified potential efficiencies in the delivery of their training and approached Cassette to develop virtual training tools for their device.
The virtual training system is to provide accessible training across Western Europe that doesn’t rely on the availability of Baxter training specialists and ICU nurses.
